What We Believe
What We Believe
We are a "Means of Grace” congregation, rejoicing that our Lord comes to us in Baptism, the Word, and The Lord’s Supper as He promised us. We believe and embrace the faith God's family handed down to us in The Lutheran Confessions and, of course, the three Ecumenical Creeds – The Apostles, The Nicene, The Athanasian. You can find out more here.
We believe that the only true God is the Triune God; one God made of three distinct and separate persons. He is revealed in Holy Scripture as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God desires all people to be saved and know the truth.
We believe that God so loved people that He sent His only Son Jesus to rescue us from our lost condition.
We believe that the Holy Spirit creates within us and keeps us in saving faith through God’s Word, Holy Baptism and The Lord’s Supper.
We believe that through the church God equips and empowers believers to serve Him by serving others and sharing the good news about Jesus.
We are a member congregation of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. For some more detail about our beliefs, click here. To go even deeper, click here.
